Dean Koontz

I read two novels by the author Dean Koontz. The first novel “INTENSITY” scared me to death. This story is thrilling and scary from start to finish. The main character in the story thinks that no harm can ever come to him and that no one will ever catch him. He is so sure of himself and his ideas of what’s right and wrong. His name is Edgler Foreman Vess. All through the story Vess makes up words from the letters in his name. The words are like rage, anger, fear and so on. Your get my point. This man has no conscience at all. The story kept me turning to next page as fast as I could. The heroine in the story is an amazing character also. She is willing to stop him any way she can.

The second book by Dean Koontz is “Life Expectancy.” This book is lighter reading than the first one. The main character in this novel has a rough way to go. His name is Jimmy Took. On the night he was born, his grandfather made some predictions about his future. None of them good. All came true in one form or another. I kept my nose in this book for three and a half hours just to see if poor Jimmy’s life would ever get better. It does get better and you can’t help but be happy for him.
