ries of books about Abram’s Daughters. They are an Amish family. At the start of the series there are four sisters and these are difficult times that they had in Gobbler’s
Knob.
The first book of the Series is called The Covenant. The Covenant opens at the ending of WWII and continuing into the Fifties. Sadie loses her innocence to a handsome English boy and she draws her sister into apart that sends Leah’s own dreams spinning out of control.
The second book is named The Betrayal, the stories of Leah and Sadie Ebersol shows their very different choices with consequences. The choices will leave them miles
apart, both physically and emotionally. Separation is never easy when you’re in love. It is a dramatic tale of forgiveness and hope. This book will capture your heart.
I have enjoyed reading this series of books. By reading the books I have learned about some of the way the Amish believe. The books have an historical feel since the Amish continue to live much as they did in the 18th century. If you read the first one of series you will continue reading them all.
